Yuliya Rassukana was born in Myronivka (Ukraine) in 1976, and graduated from National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” in 2001. She obtained her Ph.D. in 2004 (under supervision of Prof. Onysko) and habilitation in 2015 (Dr.Sc.). Now Yuliya Rassukana combines the positions of leading researcher at heteroatom chemistry department, Institute of organic chemistry, NAS of Ukraine, Kyiv, and assistant professor at the department of organic chemistry, National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”, Kyiv. She is author and co-author of more than 70 publications and supervisor of 2 Ph.D theses. Scientific interests: heteroatom chemistry; organofluorine chemistry; aminophosphonic acids; α-amino acids; asymmetric synthesis; synthesis and reactivity of highly electrophilic unsaturated systems.
